Youth Activities
Masjid-Umalqura has been running a youth initiative to encourage the local youth to build a strong connection with the Masjid by holding regular activities and programs. We aim to bring some fun and enjoyment to the youth with activities, but also provide ongoing religious talks and Q&A to tackle the issues faced by the youth of today. So far with the help of Allah we have been able to hold a number of activities over the past few months, including bowling, football, footgolf, running, and more, Islamic talks/quizzes, and health/fitness seminars (pictures of which can be found below).
We are raising money to benefit Masjid Umalqura Youth programs. Any donation will contribute towards purchase of equipment, group activity days, meals etc. Options for donations can be found below. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause.

Some of our youth activities
FOOTBALL
Football is a fantastic family activity. For kids, playing the game helps with social-emotional learning and develops motor skills such as balance, coordination, agility and endurance. Whether children play to work-out or for fun, the physical nature of football makes it the perfect antidote to sedentary lifestyles.
BASKET BALL
Basketball doesn't have to be a sweaty, competitive game of five-on-five. Maybe there are only three children playing, or the game is being dominated by more athletic children,
Reporting & Analysis
Running is one of the best (coming from a runner) and easiest sports to take up in the world. Running is a major part of nearly every sport on the planet, making it an excellent option for our school-aged athletes.
